ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING SRI SATHYA SAI ARCHIVES
Sri Sathya Sai Archives is a state-of-the-art facility built with the objective of preserving the precious messages of Bhagawan Baba for posterity. These are: b) Video Recordings (such as VHS/SVHS, Hi8, Mini DV and HDV tapes, BetaCam, DVCam Big and Small, Digi Beta, including 16 mm and 8 mm films) c) Images (photos and negatives - colour and black and white); and d) Manuscripts (letters, articles, poems, songs, etc., all written by Swami only). With difficulty, few organisations have been identified who are willing to undertake this digitisation work. This task of coordinating the entire digitisation effort has been entrusted to Radio Sai Division. This is a sincere appeal to all such people to provide us access to such content so that we may digitise them for the benefit of all. And if these devotees so desire, the material as such can also be preserved in the archives with due acknowledgements. The only motive of this exercise is to collect, preserve and share the precious content directly related to Bhagawan with the due reverence and diligence that it deserves. We humbly seek the cooperation of all the devotees who may have such precious material. | ||

Sai Baba of Shirdi is one of the most prominent religious figures in India. He has often referred as a holy man, a saint or a fakir. He lived around the mid 19th century and his followers include both Hindus and Muslims. One of the most famous Quote from his teachings is ” God is the Owner of us”. Very few of us know about him as his early life has very few reliable sources. Some used to believe that he was born in the brahmin family and he was a brahmin by birth. Later he was passed down to a Muslim Fakir and his wife, who bout Sai Baba up. Therefore Baba respects both religions and now he has a million of followers of both the religions.

Sai Baba – A Great Scholar and a Unique Doctor
It is one of the lesser known facts. Sai Baba was a great scholar and was known to have the practical thoughts. His thoughts then were compared to great philosophers. He is also known as a great Doctor or So people believe. People used to Say if they visit his grave at the Samadhi Mandir, they would live happily and all of their diseases will be gone. His miracles involved a lot of living examples.
Sai Baba`s Love for Children
Sai Baba love for children is no secret and children loved him too. Whenever a family wants to give Bhiksha to Baba, their children used to reach Baba’s place wait there for him to arrive. Baba used to play with them, give them delicious food that he had got and used to tell them his story. Children like to hear him a lot.
Sai Baba`s Belief in All Religions
One of the most interesting facts about Sai Baba is that people didn’t know which religion, he used to belong because most of Hindu gods have pierced ears however he didn’t. He was also used to sing about Allah in Hindu temple and about Rama & Shiva in Mosque. He was a firm believer of ‘There is One God’.
VERY FEW of HIS FOLLOWERS knows that Baba was a determined man and he once lived under a Neem tree for around five years. Five years is a lot of time and he used to wander in the forest around Shirdi.
Sai Baba`s Teachings and Philosophy
Sai Baba left no written books or lithographies or engravings of his teachings, but his oral words were more about the legacy which was passed down to generation. Now you would see many books on his life and his ideals which are written by his disciples based on his teachings. Some of his famous Quotes or teachings involves-:
– Baba used to say ‘As soon as you start to climb the steps of Mosque Or Marching towards the temple Your life would fill with Happiness and Joy.’
– Baba Once Said ‘ If you look to me, I will look out for You.’
– Baba also assured ” As soon as you place your feet on Shirdi Soil, Your sufferings will be gone.’
