Amazon.de has removed the 3D Blu-ray. There still are some German sites advertising the 3D edition. Amazon.it is still advertising the German edition but with no expected date. Doesn't look promising but who knows. The 2D edition is in stock in North America but it is not available until the end of February for Europe.

What is the secret about not releasing Scorch Trials 3D on Blu-ray?
No one is saying a word about various online shops removing their web pages which advertise the 3D version of this film.
The internet has been gagged regarding the 3D version of Scorch Trials on Blu-ray.
What is the mystery of 20th Century Fox and the suppression of this3d version of the film?
Did somebody spot the missing Malaysian airplane in the background of the film?
Trying to figure out if I live in China or Russia with this censorship?

The movie did ~ $10M in domestic Blu-ray sales over the first 10 weeks. I would guess it was too small for a 3D Blu-ray release but surprisingly they released an Ultimate Fan Edition 4K Blu-ray. Though it would have been more ultimate if it included 3D. Curious, given that the master is 2K.
