Fallout: New Vegas is a post-apocalyptic action role-playing video game.It is a spin-off of the Fallout series and was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks.It was announced in April 2009 and released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 19, 2010. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic open world environment that encompasses a region.

Fallout 4 is a matter of weeks away, and it's going to turn the world into a barren wasteland as gamers the world over get glued to their rigs for (at least) the next six months. There are no doubt plenty of people who are preparing for the next apocalypse - or rather the same apocalypse that happens in every Fallout game but told from a different angle - by playing previous games in the series. To make this journey a bit more fun for you, a couple of weeks ago, I told you how to get the most of Fallout 3 by modding it to look and play a lot like Fallout 4. Now, it's time for the Mojave Wasteland of New Vegas to get the makeover it deserves. With New Vegas running on the same engine as Fallout 3, it has just as rich a modding community as its predecessor. That means you can spruce up New Vegas to look absolutely stunning. You can get rid of that brown hue pervading the game, breath some life into those gormless characters' faces, and even build your own settlement in the wasteland - just like in Fallout 4! So if you want to start acclimatising to the harsh realities of life in the Boston Wasteland, then get your hands dirty with these New Vegas mods to make it feel like the desert edition of Fallout 4.
