The Pentium M processor was released by Intel in early 2003, and Dell started installing the processor in some of its Windows XP computers that same year. If your business uses a Dell Pentium M computer that's infected with a virus you can't remove, or if the machine isn't running at peak efficiency due to any number of possible causes, initiating the recovery process will restore the computer to its factory default settings. There's a good chance that this basic troubleshooting step will resolve the issue.

Factory Restore has been implemented by all computer manufacturers to correct these issues, bringing your machine back into its original condition without the need for installation discs. Factory Restore will remove and replace any corrupted files, leaving you with a clean machine.
