Method 1: Try to install the printer after running the troubleshooter and fixit’s:

Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows

Open the Printer troubleshooter

Diagnose and fix printer and printing problems automatically

Method 2Temporarily disable security software and firewall settings and check if you are able to install the printer

Disable antivirus software

Turn Windows Firewall on or off

Note:Relationship dialogue overhaul sse. Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 3: Check if the printer spooler is started

a.Click on Start, then Run,

b.Type CMD in the run window and hit OK. Command prompt will come up.

c.Type:net start spooler and hit enter. This will start the printer spooler service.

d.Try to install the printer now.
